Really, it's the only reason to even ask such a question, as otherwise players would simply experiment for themselves and find out what works for them - the only way you can interpret "fun" as contingent upon the feedback of others is if you're looking to be told what the flavors of the month are. Nine times out of ten, when a question like this pops up it's someone asking what are the flavors of the month, without coming out and saying it for whatever reason, on the assumption playing overpowered cookie-cutter characters is fun. Which is the ultimate point - min-maxing. The only drive to min-max the game any more is entirely psychological - which is as it should be. Not even gear is a huge deal any more, as the entire game scales to level and there are ten difficulty levels that cater to taste, gear, and frankly skill.
